刘静 教授

1992 年 7 月毕业于清华大学,同时获得热能工程系燃气轮机专业工学士学位及物理系现代应用物
理专业理学士学位,同年直攻博士,并于 1996 年 2 获得清华大工程热物理专业(生物传热学方向) 工学博士学位后留校任教;此后曾为美国普渡大学博士后、麻省理工学院高级访问学者。1998 年 入选中国科学院百人计划,并于 1999 年 6 月如期回国,任理化技术研究所研究员;2008 年任清 华大学百人计划教授。
Dr. Liu Received his double bachelor’s degrees (B.E. in Turbo Machinery and B.S. in Physics) in 1992, and Ph.D. in Thermal Science with specialty on Bioengineering in 1996, all from Tsinghua University. He then served as assistant professor there, a postdoctoral research associate at Purdue University, and a senior visiting scholar at MIT. He has been a professor of Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences since July 1999 and a professor of Tsinghua University since August 2008.

长期致力于生物医学工程、移动健康、液态金属与工程热物理等领域交叉科学问题研究。在生物传 热传质学研究方面做出了系统的理论、技术与应用创新,建立有系列新型高、低温医疗方法及生物 热测试技术,研发的高低温复式肿瘤治疗装备 “ 康博刀 ” 获得重大临床应用。在新兴的液态金属领 域,发现系列全新科学现象、基础效应和变革性应用途径,开辟了液态金属在生命健康、柔性机器、 信息(芯片冷却)、先进制造及能源等方面全新应用。
Dr. Liu works intensively at the interdisciplinary areas among biomedical engineering, mobile health care technology, liquid metal and thermal science. Through numerous conceptual innovation, methodology development and technical inventions, he has made significant contributions to the bioheat transfer area. His invention on the Combined Cryosurgical/ Hyperthermia System for Tumor Treatment has been translated into significant clinical practices.
Further, Dr. Liu pioneered a group of very fundamental discoveries and nonconventional technical inventions in the newly emerging science frontier of liquid metal. He successfully initiated several new directions in liquid metal sciences and technologies which led to brand new technologies in biomedical engineering, soft machine, chip cooling, advanced manufacture and energy area etc.
